Ever since I was around two years old I have been fascinated by and had a love for aviation.
Growing up I would always read airplane magazines and play with model planes, one day I decided I wanted to get into “planespotting”.
Eventually developing a love for aviation photography I created my instagram account, Flying.Ty, and started to share my work.
Meeting a lot of friends and constantly learning I started to get better and better at what I did; eventually being reposted by airlines such as United, Viva Aerobus, Royal Air Maroc, Southwest, Spirit, and British Airways.
I became known for my photography from Newark airport, only 15 minutes from my home in New Jersey with shots including the New York skyline and Port Newark in the background.
Continuing to grow my passion and meeting people along the way I met friends who guided me, taught me and helped give me more opportunity in the world of aviation photography.
Some of the highlights in recent years have included aerial photography from open door helicopters above New York, Atlanta, Chicago San Francisco, Houston, and Los Angeles. As well as getting to take photos at airports all over the USA and the world.
One of these opportunities included capturing Delta Air Lines final MD88 flight taxiing into Atlanta from a helicopter.
This photo was eventually published in the July 2020 issue of Airways Magazine. Thanks to this photo gaining attention from Airways, I joined the Airways magazine team in June 2020 as a staff photographer and a member of the social media team. I would later leave Airways Magazine and would head to the now defunct aviation news company AeronewsX as a social media team member and staff photographer. I am presently not affiliated with any companies but continue to grow within the world of aviation.
To this day my journey in the world of aviation continues as both a photographer, traveler, and now an Aviation Management Student at The Ohio State University.
I’m looking forward to where my adventure will take me next!
